The objectives of the Society are:

The advancement of the standard of shoulder and elbow surgery in South Africa by contact and discussion amongst the members of the Society.

To aid and stimulate interest in the problems encountered with regard to the shoulder and elbow in medical practice.

To form educational links with international bodies with similar interests.

    The South African Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons’ Society is made up of South African Orthopaedic surgeons with a super-specialist interest in in surgery of the shoulder and elbow.

    The organization seeks to:
