The Society of South African Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons wishes to provide patients with
access to information regarding shoulder pathology. Shoulder related pathologies and its
relevant treatment protocols evolve constantly. Information provided to patients has to be
updated regularly and tailored to a patient’s specific needs.
The advancement of the standard of shoulder and elbow surgery in South Africa by contact and discussion amongst the members of the Society.
